The Poinsett County Sheriff 's Office accepts applications daily for Deputy Sheriff, Detention Officer, Communications Officer and other non-sworn personnel. You may download the preliminary employment application below and deliver it to the Poinsett County Sheriff's Office at 1500 Justice Drive Harrisburg, AR. 72432.

1. Each application must be filled out in it's entirety, along with a copy of your birth certificate, and a copy of your high school diploma or GED. 
2. The background release form must be signed and notarized. 
3. A comprehensive background investigation will be performed prior to an offer of employment. 
4. Each applicant must also pass a physical and psychological examination.
