Execution of Search Warrant in Harrisburg Netted 2 Arrests
On October 18, 2018, a Search Warrant was served at Danny and Julie Wheeler's residence at 8810 Rolling Hills Lane in Harrisburg, AR. The warrant stemmed from an active drug delivery investigation by our investigators. 8 guns, methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia were seized from the residence. 2 of the guns seized were stolen and one of the guns is believed to be the gun used in the shooting at Tulot on October 2, 2018.
The following people were arrested and transported to the Poinsett County Detention Center.
Danny Wheeler, 48, of Harrisburg is charged with Furnishing a Handgun or a Prohibited Weapon to a Felon, Theft by Receiving, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana), Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms, and Felony Drug Paraphernalia. A bond of $55,000 was set on October 19, 2018.
Julie Wheeler, 44, of Harrisburg is charged with Theft by Receiving, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana), Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms, and Felony Drug Paraphernalia. A bond of $20,000 was set on October 19, 2018.
